Also through weight loss method, concentration of moringa leafs extract of 0.2g, 0.4g, 0.6g, 0.8g and 1.0g produced 47.37%, 88.57%, 78.91%, 91.18% and 86.02% respectively.

Rohingya Crisis Representation in BBC and Al Jazeera English online news []

This research investigated representation of Rohingya crisis in the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and Al Jazeera (AJE) online news media. Content analysis methodology followed to find the representation mechanism of these two global news outlets to elucidate whether they used the digital elements or not. While online media transform a linear text into an interactive text through digital representation by linking with social media offering instant feedback options as both media use these digital elements to depict this political crisis. Moreover, these two globally recognized news media use images, video clips, interactive maps which tend to visualize the real scenario of Rohingya refugees . BBC, one of the world most powerful and reliable news outlets, portraits the crisis in a balanced way by identifying views who involved in this violence. In other word, BBC news website depicted this problem as a part of global political crisis whereas AJE represented it as an ethnic crisis against Muslim minority group in their online Platform. On the other hand, BBC online used warning to aware audience about propaganda in this issue by using social media. In addition, BBC represented the stance of United Nations (UN) chief, in contrast, AJE emphasized on the initiatives of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Both of the news websites offered hyperlink option to get more details information about this news. Besides, BBC online articles offered to their audience read more from reality check , follow us on twitter , and option for sharing news, however, AJE provided print and listen to this page using Readspeaker options. Although BBC and AJE online news has feedback option for audience by e-mailing, but these media do not have bellow line comment option or any open space for audience feedback. Overall, it observed that representation ideological and institutional standpoint reflected on both these media news articles. Hence, this study is not beyond limitation of audience perception analysis on Rohingya crisis in online news media, what will be the future research initiative to investigate how digital elements interact to construct opinion on Rohingya crisis.

Image Retrieval In Multimedia Database by applying enhanced color histogram []

This Paper was set to deal with “The lack of acute precision in retrieving images by using color histogram”, which is the identified problem in how to retrieve images in multimedia database. Color histograms can potentially be identical for two images with different object content which happens to share color information. Conversely, without spatial or shape information, comparison objects of different color may be indistinguishable based solely on color histogram comparisons. As a way to find a solution to this problem color and shape were considered to make sure the retrieved images have little chance to give unexpected errors. The solution to the problem is made possible by the approach of “image retrieval by means of Enhanced color histogram”. Image retrieval interface was used for querying, browsing, searching and retrieving closely, images from a large database of digital images. This database is prepared using color visual feature. The approach used in this system was “Enhanced color histogram”, which represents the number of pixels that have colors in each of a fixed list of color ranges that span the image’s color space, the set of all possible colors. Considering the results given by both color histogram and enhanced color histogram, enhanced color histogram was more effective for all queries than color histogram

ECONOMIC MATERIAL DEVELOPMENT SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL []

It is an undeniable fact that currently there has been an extremely unfriendly economic behavior towards environmental preservation. This results in forest fires, landslides, floods, due to excessive exploitation of natural resources. Thus, there needs to be a paradigm shift in activities that are more environmentally friendly economic behavior. To change economic behavior, especially for future generations, it needs to be designed systematically and programmed according to the stages of the development of students. One of them can be included and integrated in social studies subjects, with the aim of forming students to have knowledge, attitudes, concerns and sensitivity to environmental preservation. Thus it should be designed sustainable economic learning materials, so students are more aware and concerned with environmental preservation and social environment.

Deep Learning based object detection from image using Convolutional Neural Network []

Object detection is a subfield of computer vision that is currently heavily based on machine learning. For the past decade, the field of machine learning has been dominated by so-called deep neural networks, which take advantage of improvements in computing power and data availability. A subtype of a neural network called a convolutional neural network (CNN) is well-suited for image-related tasks. The network is trained to look for different features, such as edges, corners and color differences, across the image and to combine these into more complex shapes. For project, we reviewed the current literature on convolutional object detection and tested the implement ability of one of the methods. We found that convolutional object detection is still evolving as a technology, despite outranking other object detection methods. By virtue of free availability of datasets and pre-trained networks, it is possible to create a functional implementation of a deep neural network without access to specialist hardware. Pre-trained networks can also be used as a starting point for training new networks, decreasing costly training time.

Motivation: Adoption of an online voting system for the upcoming Nigeria General Election 2023 []

Nigeria general elections apparently had been experiencing a high level of irregularities, inconclusiveness and less involvement in its electoral processes right from 1999-2019 due to lack of implementing an online voting system (OVS). There is no contradiction that technology has drastically reduced incidences of electoral malpractices such as: ballot stuffing, result sheet mutilation, manipulations, over voting, alteration of result sheets and hijacking of ballot boxes in the history of Nigeria elections. Though the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has employed a number of innovative approaches to improve the management and conduct of elections in the country. The last few years have brought a renewed focus on to the technology used in the voting process. The current voting system in Nigeria has many security holes such as failure of card reader among others. This paper provides an overview on the past technologies being adopted for voting in Nigeria since 1999-2019 and proposed an adoption of an OVS in Nigeria for the 2023 general election and ascertain success to review of other countries that have adopted OVS; the adoption success is based on implementation of OVS adopted at the international level.

Challenges and Benefits of SMEs in Bangladesh to Adopt Open Innovation: A Quantitative Study []

SMEs are considered to be the key driver of the economy of any country. Especially in a middle-income country like ours where the population is high but the opportunities for creating new jobs are far less. In this case, the SME industry offers maximum employment opportunities for the local people and helps to increase the quality of life. But at present, small and medium enterprises of Bangladesh are facing many challenges. This paper analyzes various aspects of the SME sector, especially the benefits and challenges, and made an effort to find ways to overcome these challenges. Therefore, this study examines the challenges and benefits of SMEs in Bangladesh to adopt open innovation. Structured questionnaire was used to collect data from 80 business entities belonging to SME traders through multistage sampling method which made of stratified, purposive and random sampling. Multiple regressions were used to analyze the data collected in order to determine the effects of independent variables (Challenges face by SMEs), entrepreneurial dimensions on dependent variable (Open Innovation). This study outcome exposed that challenges of SMEs have significant effects on open innovation. The study also exposed that the independent variable “lacking information” has a highest beta score than the other variables, which is a major barrier to open innovation adoption in the small and medium enterprises of Bangladesh. It was concluded that, 74.9% of the total variation in the open innovation data is explained by challenges of SMEs. Therefore, it is recommended that the government should take the necessary steps in view of the existing challenges of small and medium industries and try to play a role in the socio-economic development of the country by strengthening the path of development in this industry.
