The Impact of the School Counselor in the Integration of Arab Students into Higher Education in Israel [PDF] Braah Tarabey
In Israel, school counseling was originally incorporated into the curriculum in the 1960s. The primary responsibilities of the school counselor in Israel are counseling, consultation, coordination, and execution of guidance programs (Nations, 2020). These responsibilities were directly taken from the rationale and purpose of the school counseling program as it was published in the 1960s by the "American School Counselling Association" and the "American Personnel and Guidance Association." Two decades after the program's inception, the first school counselors to be employed in the Arab educational system in Israel started to show up at the beginning of the 1980s. In the Israeli educational system today, the percentage of Arab school counselors employed is less than 4% of the more than 2500 total school counselors (Meyer & Bell, 2023).
School counselors impact how well Arab students are integrated into higher education. Interventions in higher education also aim to support and inform Arab students to help them make informed decisions regarding their personal, higher education integration, and social lives (Easterbrook & Hadden, 2020). Thus, this study aimed to ascertain whether the school counselor's function has any bearing on student success and to assist Arab students who wish to enroll in higher education in Israel. The study used a mixed-methods approach to find answers to the following questions: What specific role does the school counselor play in helping Arab students in Israel integrate into higher education? Also, is there any real impact on the role played by school counselors in the integration of Arab students into higher education? The study's findings revealed that students overwhelmingly agreed that the school counselor's contributions to integrating Arab students into higher education in Israel included higher education guidance and counseling, higher education career goal identification, the organization of higher education career days and conferences, and administration of the occupational interest inventory.
Additionally, Arab students asserted that the school counselor's roles affect their higher education career decisions. Additionally, there was a favorable relationship between the counselor's function and how it affected Arab students' college integration. To promote Arab students' absorption into higher education, it is advised that frequent intervention activities be offered.
EVALUATION OF GLOBAL AND LOCAL SHIP DESIGNING SOFTWARE
TREND AND WAY FORWARD [PDF] Dr. Khandokar Akhter Hossain, NAME Dept, MIST, Dhaka, Md Abu Sufian, NAME Dept, MIST, Dhaka
Choosing the right ship dimensions, speed, and capacity is one of the most important considerations for ship owners. This decision often depends on figuring out what type of ship best meets a specific need. Since there are many factors that may vary depending on the class or regulatory body, such as its technical specifications, construction methods, and operational needs, final design decisions usually come from a compromise between those competing requirements. To address such opposing requirements, naval architects currently employ multiple types of purpose-oriented parametric software that are interconnected. As a result, this article looks to depict the global evolution of employing CAD-based software for ship design, as well as general information regarding CAD/CAM/CAE tools for improving performance, structural integrity, stability, and enhancing ship maneuverability and seakeeping capability. Furthermore, this article represents Bangladesh's ship design capabilities as well as the accessible software used for ship design purposes locally. This article also aims to recommend some measures to improve Bangladesh's overall indigenous ship design ability.

THE INTERDEPENDENCE OF GEOMETRY AND SOME BRANCHES OF MATHEMATICS [PDF] Sandoval Amui
This paper is a new piece in a sequence of papers and books the author has been writing, with the purpose to analyze some strange and poorly explained results and certain open questions we face under current mathematics. Thinking “outside the box”, he assumed the hypothesis that mistaken math fundamentals and premises could be behind these math oddities and granted himself the right to follow a completely free reasoning approach in order to question the so far unshakable math framework and identify why these oddities occur and what to do to overcome them. His approach is in line with the idea of joining apparently independent areas of knowledge to analyze math, a unified view of this science. In a book published in 2019, he stated that a circumference geometric property, mathematically expressed by the quadratic relationship, “x2 + y2 = (2R)2 = Constant”, has a broader scope than currently accepted. He demonstrated his statement with the help of a theorem he enunciated in that book and named “Theorem of Infinite Right Triangles”. In this paper, he emphasized the interdependence of geometry and some branches of math (number theory, algebra and trigonometry) by showing that, explicitly or not, a circumference law expressed by that magic relationship rules every open or closed polygonal inscribed in a circumference, as well as three famous math subjects: Pythagoras’ Theorem, Fermat’s Conjecture (Fermat’s Last Theorem) and Beal’s Conjecture. In the referred quadratic relationship, the constant value “(2R)2” is the square of the circumference diameter, while “x” and “y” are circumference chords from any common point in the circumference contour line, tied to the ends of the chosen diameter, since the author refers to plane geometry. This unbreakable connection between geometry and mathematics shows that Pythagoras’ Theorem and Beal’s Conjecture represent right triangles and are particular cases of the referred Theorem of Infinite Right Triangles, while Fermat’s Conjecture expresses the nonexistence of right triangles under certain conditions imposed on the numbers in Fermat’s math expression, and is a corollary of the author’s Theorem.

The impact of ultraviolet radiations on the multinucleocapsid nuclear polyhedrosis virus' insecticidal action against Agrotis ipsilon (H.) (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) [PDF] Mohamed Refaat Abo Elrla
In its hot and humid areas, the black cutworm Agrotis ipsilon (Hufnagel) (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) is one of the most harmful and destructive polyphagous agricultural pests of various field crops. It can attack a variety of commercially significant crops and consistently causes significant feeding harm to cotton, vegetables, and some ornamental crops in Africa, Asia, and Europe. The impact of ultraviolet light on the insecticidal activity of Spodoptera littoralis Multinucleocapsid Nuclear Polyhedrosis Virus against the black cutworm Agrotis ipsilon (Hufnagel) was examined in laboratory experiments. (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae).
From the initial stock, three diluted concentrations were taken, and the haemocytometer counted the number of Polyhedral Inclusion Bodies (PIB)/ml/concentration under a light microscope. The PIB numbers were 1.1x108, 3.11x 107, and 6.7x 106 for each concentration (1.0 ml), correspondingly. The percentage mortalities to 4th larval instar larvae tested until mortality or pupation for each of these concentrations were 79.96, 78.84, and 61.44%, respectively. Three groups were created for each percentage. The first group did not receive any UV exposure, while the second and third groups received 5.0 and 20.0 minutes of UV exposure, respectively. The PIB/ml were measured and tested against fourth instar larvae fed on castor leaf discs treated with aqueous suspensions of nuclear polyhedrosis virus after the exposure interval. According to the calculations, the LC50 values for the concentrations before and after UV radiation were 1.3 x 106, 7.7 x 106, 2.97 x 106, and 6.1 x 106 PIB/ml, respectively. Lethal times (LT50s) for each concentration were also measured, and the results showed that the lethal time reduced as virus concentration increased.
Additionally, it was discovered that lengthening UV exposure time was followed by a decline in virus concentration and mortality rate.

SUMMARY :
Transgastric endoscopic necrosectomy is a recent endoscopic surgical technique in the management of superinfected pancreatic necrosis with the advantage of causing little postoperative concern compared to conventional surgery which has been considered the gold standard in this field.
However, this innovative technique is not devoid of complications and morbidity, thus requiring efficient clinical-biological and radiological monitoring measures given the lack of experience.
Severe acute pancreatitis can be complicated by pancreatic necrosis, the major risk of which is that of superinfection, a formidable complication whose management is multidisciplinary with a considerable morbimortality.
Several international data on the subject have reported a certain number of complications occurring either during the procedure or postoperatively, mainly arterial haemorrhage, gas embolism, fistula, perforation of the colon, perforation of the peritoneum or sepsis, with a non-negligible morbidity and mortality rate.
Based on these observations, our series was interested in the subject to evaluate our practices in order to improve the management of superinfected pancreatic necrosis.
Our objective is to evaluate the prevalence of postoperative complications inherent to endoscopic pancreatic necrosectomy.
